I have the same question Using this in a UTM appliance and it performs flawlessly. As I remember the setup for the drivers doesn’t offer any options other than the output folder.

In reply to Linney’s post on September 1, Linney, I set the installer for W7 version of the E card to W7 compatibility, and while it ran, it still ends up with “Device PCI long list of characters requires further installation” and no connectivity. Have you tried your OEM for 811e latest available driver, whether it be Windows 7, 8, or, if your lucky, Windows 10?
Thanks for marking this as the answer. Also I just looked into the Properties on both adapters, and under Events both state that “device XYZ requires further installation.
I haven’t tried the W7 drivers in a compatibility mode yet, but I’ll look into that. Even though Device Manager states that there is no issue and with either adapter but when trying to enable both adapters under Network Connection, neither adapter is enabled to make a network connection.
